Abstract

DELOUYA, Daniel. Note on words and their power in Freud’s work. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2007, vol.30, n.44, pp.40-44. ISSN 0101-3106.

A mental treatment of soul is only feasible, according to Freud (1890), through words, on the condition that they should be endowed with their original sorcery power. The action of words, their power and their relation to the soul’s matter, production and treatment are main concerns of Freud’s work since 1890 till 1939. In this work we take some notes along some of these axes.

Keywords : Hallucination; Images of movement; Thing-representation; Wordrepresentation.
