Abstract

DUARTE, Francisco A.. Freud and the music. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2017, vol.40, n.64, pp.129-142. ISSN 0101-3106.

This work looks into Freud's relationship with music, and how it would influence the Viennese psychoanalyst's personal life and work. In his search for the lullaby mentioned by Freud to Fliess, the author recovers the score and lyrics from a Czech folks song, and records a version of it. The work ends with a theory of what children's music may have meant to a grown up Freud.

Keywords : Music; Lullaby; Hajej, müj andilku; Freud; Resistance.
