The aim of this article is to discuss the methodological requirements for the psychoanalytic research, especially when psychoanalytic texts are taken as objects of research as well as the research source. In this sense, we propose a "warned reading", which involves readers who are aware that a text is always the writing of a certain reading - a reading-writing - and that every reading has its protocols, but these protocols are often automatic and, for this reason, they end up being unbeknown to the reader. We started this journey by developing some epistemological aspects for a deconstructive reading, based on texts by Luís Cláudio Figueiredo and Jacques Derrida. For demonstrative purposes, we analyze the assumption of a sense of continuity of Lacanian psychoanalysis in relation to Freud, as the effect or the result of a reading operation, more specifically, of a reading on the "return to Freud". To put into contrast, another reading of this return, a reading that is proposed by the authors Alfredo Eidelsztein e Markos Zafiropoulos, highlights that Lacan introduces an epistemological perspective that is different from the Freudian stance. We conclude that Lacan, as a text (and like any other text), is open to countless reading possibilities. This other way of reading causes a rupture in the way Lacan is classically read and inaugurates another reading of psychoanalysis, based on the heritage of the Freudo-Lacanian discourse and its differences with this other Lacan.
