Abstract

ROHE, Daniel. Clinical reflections in d minor. Reverso [online]. 2020, vol.42, n.79, pp.81-88. ISSN 0102-7395.

Clinical comments on musicological issues were made from a historical perspective, covering original elements of psychoanalysis in addition to aspects of clinical training in general. Criticisms regarding the resistance to musicological knowledge appear from Freud in Michelangelo's Moses and continue to this day. Such resistance creates an obstacle to clinical reflection due to its denial character of studies already carried out. It was possible to observe the presence of musicological issues in the relationship between analyst and patient, in addition to other psychological considerations about elements of music theory, such as the key of D minor.

Keywords : Musicology; Opera; Clinical theory; Psychoanalysis.
