In this article, a proposal is made to reconsider the Lacanian elaborations around the formulae of sexuation, aiming at situating the place of object comprising the feminine jouissance. The inscription of the formula of the phantom in the sexuation diagram is still subject to many debates and various interpretations. Our take is designed so as to conduct the debate to some contemporary expressions of the feminine, mostly in the cinema and the feminist movement. Both in the movies and in politics, clothing is emphasized as an expression of the feminine objectal position: in the first case as an example of what in the phantom wraps the object; in the second, as a platform to intervene over the woman's body. Our focus, within the limits an article allows, is to reconsider particularly the question of the "object a" in the feminine stance, taking into account that it does not match fully what the masculine desire proposes it to be. Thus, we suggest that the "object a" in the part of the sexuation formulae that describes the feminine stance follows the new logic therein inscribed: it is "not-all" effect of the masculine desire in the phantom.
