Abstract

ABRANTES, Thiago da Silva. The nuances in and of the analyst’s training: a reflection based on the perlaboration of the superego’s resistence. J. psicanal. [online]. 2022, vol.55, n.103, pp.181-196.  Epub July 08, 2024. ISSN 0103-5835.  https://doi.org/10.5935/0103-5835.v55n103.14.

We will discuss how the analyst’s ideals appear in the treatment. We will use the perlaboration of the superego as an articulation point, since it is the work that takes place to overcome negative therapeutic reaction, which is the form of expression of the superego’s resistence. In the superego’s model of perlaboration, questioning the conditions for the subject to apprehend what is felt and produced in analysis comes into play, highlighting the analyst’s training, especially the extent to which their personal analysis reduces the risk of their non analyzed ideals interfering with listening.

Keywords : perlaboration; resistance; transference; ideals; superego.
