Abstract

Depending on the social, cultural and family occurred since the last century, the role of father figure now and is undergoing significant changes in our society. The aim of this paper is to shed light on some reflections on the present role of the father, both for the child, and for the family and its great importance in the psychic structure and social and cognitive development of children.
