Abstract

AMARANTE, Andrea G. de M  and  SOARES, Cássia B. Adolescence in the brazilian public health system: a bibliographic review. Rev. bras. crescimento desenvolv. hum. [online]. 2007, vol.17, n.3, pp.154-159. ISSN 0104-1282.

This study aimed to understand the trajectory of the health public policies directed toward the adolescent in the period from 1990 to 2004. A bibliographic review was conducted in the ADOLEC database (Literature on adolescence). The results revealed that the scientific production of the health area: presented regular frequency during the period; focused mainly on the Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (Statute of the Child and Adolescent), with notable decrease throughout the period, when the more frequent subjects became violence and public policies; had the subject of health public policies gradually reduced throughout the period.
