Abstract

PEREIRA, Alciane Barbosa; CONCEICAO, Maria Inês Gandolfo  and  NERY, Maria da Penha. The teacher's role in child protection: Sociodramatic contributions. Rev. bras. psicodrama [online]. 2015, vol.23, n.1, pp.61-67. ISSN 0104-5393.

The aim of this study was to explore how trainee teachers manage situations of domestic violence experienced by their pupils and how one-off sociodrama acts can help future teachers in performing their protective and caring roles. Trainee teachers were able to experience delicate situations related to domestic violence against children. Beyond being conceptual and instrumental, such sociodrama acts also allowed the trainees to experience and express feelings and emotions related to their actions in these situations.

Keywords : Sociodrama; Teacher role; Domestic violence against children.
