Abstract

CASTILHO, Pedro Teixeira. Forms of discontents in the field of education: symptom, inhibition and anguish in the failures in school. Psicol. educ. [online]. 2012, n.34, pp.20-36. ISSN 1414-6975.

The scientification of learning difficulties during the process of knowledge construction has produced a segregation in school environment. Nowadays, it is quite common that interpretation of symptoms, failures and deadlocks in the transmission are linked to their medical and cognitive dysfunction regardless of the psychoanalytic perspective of these difficulties. The consequence of this practice is the segregation that ends up producing the "problem student". Therefore, we intend to demonstrate how learning problems are being addressed if we consider a medical approach that does not address the libidinal issue in the learning process.

Keywords : learning; biopower; drive; segregation; psychoanalysis.
