Abstract

The following studies is a snip from a master degree dissertation. It's goal is understand if the significant figures' support favors the development of the resilience's abilities in students victims of bullying in a school context. 224 students participated from the studies, came from the eleven classes of fundamental II (6th to 9th years), from two public schools in Recife and Olinda/PE. The collected report's extracted results from a Survey About School Experiences (QEE) and the analysis were made according the content analysis, on the thematic modalities. In general the results demonstrated that the support provided to the bullying victim students by the significant figures help them to develop resilience in a way that make possible the development of cognitive strategies to deal with this kind of violence in a school context.
