PUSCH, Raquel. Humanization and completeness. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2010, vol.13, n.2, pp.210-216. ISSN 1516-0858.

Humanization in the hospital environment should be viewed in a way that goes beyond the humanitarian act, it involves the integrity which represents above all, the demise of reductionism when it comes to care. The construction of a new practice in interdisciplinary space should be guided by ethical and humanitarian principles, through a process of dialogue and reflective. For both effective communication and collaborative relationships between healthcare professionals, patients and their families are essential to the quality of care and, consequently, the quality of hospital care.
