Abstract

MORENO, Arley R.. Wittgenstein and values: from solipsism to inter-subjectivity. Nat. hum. [online]. 2001, vol.3, n.2, pp.233-288. ISSN 1517-2430.

This paper is an attempt to track the main changes in Wittgenstein's conception of ethical/esthetical and verifuncional values, concerning their langage expression possibilities, from the Tractatus to the second period of his reflection, i.e., from the end of 1920. In addition, this paper indicates and analyses the ethical difficulties Wittgenstein feels to situate his own philosophical activitie in his historical milieu, wich himself criticises as being a period of decadent civilization as opposed to other periods of culture.

Keywords : Ethics; Epistemology; Language.
