The increasing participation of the private in the social policies provoked a marriage between entrepreneurship and empowerment. Social entrepreneurship is the fruit of this union. It aims to increase the consumption capacity of the poorest. This happens considering transformations in the work´s world. Even with superficial modifications, the social still contributing to improve the secular model of assistencialism, reaching what we call productive assistentialism. This is characterized by social action that seeks to promote consumers without breaking the current model of meritocracy and social domination. We conclude that this new configuration of assistentialism further blames the individual isolated by the ills of capitalism, and this is the main responsible for success or failure consecrated by the business model.
