Abstract

GUATIMOSIM, Bárbara. Neurosis exists and people get cured: What's the trick?. Stylus (Rio J.) [online]. 2012, n.25, pp.87-98. ISSN 1676-157X.

In the short communication at the Congress About the Transmission, in July 1978, Lacan moves from the affirmation of the existence of neurosis, passes through the analytical game that makes it give in, and reaches the possibility of emergence, and also transmission, of what he would call sinthome: what is left is unique to each patient and, paradoxically, it is something that comes as a new social bond at the end of an analysis. How does the analyst's discourse provoke this outcome? What is the trick? That is the question which leads him. From these observations made by Lacan in his "conclusions" and under his guidance, the objective here is to raise and discuss questions on interpretation and act.

Keywords : Interpretation; Act; End of analysis; Sinthome; Borromean knot.
