Abstract

BORGES, Livia de Oliveira et al. Questionnaire of work condition: elaboration and factorial structure in occupational groups. Aval. psicol. [online]. 2013, vol.12, n.2, pp.213-225. ISSN 1677-0471.

The research reported here was developed aiming to propose a questionnaire about work conditions, to explore its consistence and validity of construct, and to verify if factor structures vary for occupation. Two surveys were developed, one with 411 building construction workers, and the other with 145 teachers of a higher education center and 119 health professional workers in university hospitals. Results show the factorability of scales to three categories of work conditions: physical and material conditions, process and characteristics of activities, and sociomanagerial environment. Differences between found factorial structures were understood as reflecting specificities of occupations of participants. The questionnaire can be useful to occupational diagnoses, although it presents some aspects to improve.

Keywords : working conditions; factor analysis; occupational diagnosis.
