Abstract

The psychological task develops conditions for listening to subjectivity. It demands the knowledge of subjectivation modes that surround the people involved. Depression is one of the many modes of suffering predominant in the contemporary world. This article points out the social-historical scenario responsible for producing those subjectivities that are part of depression. It also discusses some approaches to the listening of such suffering.
