This article reports the experience of attending school problems of Seape Extension Project (Service of attendance in School/ Educational Psychology) that have being developed at the Centre for Applied Psychology (CAP) at Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). The project proposes the contextualization of the problem and the minimization of inappropriate referrals to the clinic. The objective is to promote, integrate and formalize through the CAP / UFJF, the provision of services and psychoeducational care with problems related to the demand for schooling, enabling, in a participatory perspective, the care to parents, children, adolescents, teachers and teaching teams. It is assumed a proactive perspective, promoting health and development. This report discusses three areas at work in meeting the school problems: guidance for studies, training of attendance and promoting of social skills. The evaluation of the project has been positive considering the reports of parents, guardians and teachers as well as the development of children and adolescents attended
