Abstract

In this article the author elaborated a chronologic analysis using Winnicott's psychoanalysis theory about the origins of morality. The author wrote about the Winnicott's originality with this theme since he started his first scientific texts. The article shows critics and comments of him concerning the conception of this theme in the traditional psychoanalysis.This article describes the first texts wrote by this English psychoanalyst in 1930 until his texts of 1970. The author of this article selected nearly 20 texts for this chronologic analysis and concluded that Winnicott matured his ideas and created a theory of a moral mature with news terms and concepts.Based on this chronologic analysis, the author affirm that the origins of morality could be found in the first personal relations established between a mother and her baby and it goes with the baby in his/her development if the environment could be good enough and continuous.
