Abstract

FERNANDES, Waldemar José. About: the theory of the mind - the mind of the group - the group in the mind. Vínculo [online]. 2005, vol.2, n.2, pp.11-21. ISSN 1806-2490.

The psychoanalytical work, either from a linking perspective or from an individual one, always involves some questions: the internal groups of clients and therapists, some models used by each part, amount of respect individualities get from the group, the way the group and individuals manage most primitive aspects, always present in life, etc. Then, we could affirm that, development of psychoanalytical work of the group depends upon both; individual minds and the mind of the group, and that at this point we find convenient to study what has been called the theory of the mind, establishing a relationship between this knowledge and group's dispositions. Concepts like the theory of the Mind, Theory of Models and primitive aspects of the mind and the group will be considered. Finally we conclude that group's work will be far more efficient if theories that inhabit in the mind of the participants will be respected and for that reason they will not suffer from exclusion for being "resistant".

Keywords : Group; Mind; Theory of the mind; The mind of the group.
