Abstract

AVILA, Lazslo Antonio. Group representations: the psychoanalytical perspective - 2nd part. Vínculo [online]. 2008, vol.5, n.1, pp.26-36. ISSN 1806-2490.

The present paper discusses the individual-group relationships, based on their inevitable inter-connections. Departing from two metaphors that represent groupality, the Greek myth of Lerna’s Hydra and the “ice-cream cup”, we propose representations for groups that allow the identification of intersubjectivity and transubjectivity. We conclude with a discussion of the complex composition of the human individual, who has, within himself, all humanity.

Keywords : Group; Individual; Psychoanalysis; Group analysis.
