Abstract

IZA MIKELEIZ, Mauricio  and  KONSTENIUS, Alexandra. The world as external memory. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2011, vol.16, n.3, pp.116-131. ISSN 1806-5821.

The symbolic information-processing paradigm in Cognitive Science has been a growing challenge for neural networks models. But, it still tries to model intelligence as the product of symbolically coded products to problems expressed through symbols. Here, it is discussed the absence of attention to the ways in which agent and context take part of the processing cycles that result in the intelligent action. © Cien.
