Abstract

COUCEIRO FIGUEIRA, Ana Paula  and  CARVALHO, Sandra. The emotional skills in the training of the physiotherapist: Study with a group of students of Physiotherapy. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2011, vol.16, n.3, pp.132-150. ISSN 1806-5821.

This article presents the results of an investigation into the conceptions and perceptions of students of Physiotherapy around emotional skills. Participants in number 26, are students attending the 4th year of Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Public School was used as a research tool, a script of semi-structured narrative. The results allow us to conclude that even in the absence of emotional skills training directed at the students to highlight them, more or less predominant, and recognize not only the importance of these skills, such as the importance of acquiring knowledge in this area. Moreover, the analysis of results showed a reflection on the practices of care, emphasizing the importance of the paradigm of care, rather than the paradigm of the deal. © Cien.
