MARTINS, Márcio Antonio Giansante and MOREIRA, Liliane. A postura do Gestalt-TerapeutaThe posture of the Gestalt-Therapist. IGT rede [online]. 2013, vol.10, n.19, pp.321-327. ISSN 1807-2526.
This article was produced by students of the Institute of Gestalt-therapy and familiar care. This topic has its relevance explained taking into account that Gestalt-therapy is relational - so the posture of the Gestalt-therapist may interfere in the relationship with his client, either positively or negatively. To produce this article were conducted literature researches that based its production. Being Gestalt-therapist is to look at the client as a whole. It is also to suspend the judgment about the phenomena he sees in the client. The Gestalt-therapist believes that everyone has within himself the potential to allow him to make the best possible choice for him at that moment. Who knows what is best for the person is herself and not the Gesltalt-therapist. He will only help the client to perceive and to be aware of what he feels and thinks; aware of what he does with himself and how is his relationship with the world.
