Abstract

ALMEIDA, Sara Peres Dornelles; MARINHO, Juliana da Rosa  and  ZAPPE, Jana Gonçalves. Psychologist Acting with Adolescents who comply Disciplinary Measure: A Systematic Review. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.1, pp.51-72. ISSN 1808-4281.  https://doi.org/10.12957/epp.2021.59369.

This systematic review aimed to identify scientific publications about psychologist's performance in the socio-educational context, from 2007 to 2018. Searches were  carried out in the LILACS, PEPSIC and SCIELO databases, by using the descriptors "psychology" or "intervention" combined with "adolescent in conflict with the law", "infractional act" or "socio-educative measure". 242 papers were accessed and their abstracts were read to identify those that approached the subject, remaining 22 articles for the final review. Through the thematic content analysis of the materials, we created four categories: 1) Psychology techniques applied to the demands of socio-education; 2) Listening as the main tool; 3) Working with groups and 4) Art and Sports as dimensions of interest for psychology. Considering the data that were analyzed, it is understood that the psychologist's performance must essentially contribute to build new possibilities in adolescent's lives, respecting their singularities and understanding the peculiarities of their stories. It was also possible to observe that the existence of barriers to the development of effective socio-educational practices calls on the psychologist to expand the repertoire of practices that were traditionally consolidated, which demands to create devices that make sense for these adolescents, considering their contexts and the history of their lives.

Keywords : adolescents; psychology; socio-educational measure.
