Entering the university is a context of great change and requires an adaptation of individuals social skills to the new demands presented. The present study aimed to verify the possible influence of the attachment behavioral system on the repertoire of social skills of university students, through a quantitative analysis of the data obtained by the self-report instruments: Skills Inventory Social Media, the Adult Attachment Scale, and the Relationship Questionnaire. The results obtained point to the confirmation of the hypothesis that the attachment behavioral system exerts a partial influence on the university students repertoire of social skills.
