In this paper, adolescence is studied from the angle of the new dreams which surprise subjects at this time of life. We will consider what the work of the subconscious and the encoding of pleasure it carries out contribute to adolescence. The paper shows the extent to which adolescence consists in a new desire which affects the subject, with reference to Frank Wedekind's play Spring Awakening and Jacques Lacan's commentary on this work.
