This work comes from an ethnographic-inspired intervention research carried out with the street-dwelling population of a Brazilian Northeastern city. From the perspective of institutional analysis, the interviews allowed the production of life narratives, workshops, thematic talk wheels and events. Based on the records of narratives, observations and experiences in field diaries, we analyzed the category "Gender, Sexuality and Sexual Diversity", concerning the experiences of people who identify themselves as LGBT or who deviate from the cis-heteronormative referential. These experiences are analytical of the LGBT lives that inhabit the streets, explaining serious violations of rights, vulnerabilities and exclusion in different social contexts. We emphasize the need to reflect on the identity categories created and their implications in this scenario, as well as the need for a struggle for rights and public policies, and another battles, aimed at the street population that prioritize these precarious lives.
