Abstract

The need to develop educational competences for professionals in the third sector has been considered an important practice that concerns the role of school psychologist. Thus, this article aims to share the intervention process carried out with social educators in a third sector institution for the training of these professionals from the perspective of school psychology. For this, ethnographic and participant observation methodologies were used. Eight meetings were also held, in a virtual and conversational format, with two educators. Such actions resulted in the strengthening of the challenges of the professionalization and performance of social educators, in the implementation of planning and reporting of social assistance activities, in the practical and methodological relationship of education and in the realization of the contribution of school psychology in this scope of action. It is understood that the actions taken were effective for the context and the professionals.
