Abstract

The present research searched to articulate the areas of the psychology of the emotions and cognitive psychology under the optics of the treatment of the information. The study considered two experiments with 42 living participants of Rio de Janeiro, where they had the following objectives: in the first experiment, to verify the character of independence of the emotional system and the cognitive processing; in the second experiment, to represent the model of net of the emotions entailed to the cognitive, or either, to express the systems functioning of dependent form. The procedure used priming together the word-test, technique that works with time of reaction in cognitive science. The results point with respect to the distinction of functioning of the systems emotional and cognitive, even so in interaction. The joined results are corroborated by the recent discoveries of the neuroscience.
