We develop here a theoretical study on maternity centered in the bond mother- child. Through the conceptual examination on the maternity we contextualize it as social historical object that modifies in the time-space of the culture. In this manner we can speak about "maternities" and not in an only form to live it and to apprehend its complexity while psychosocial phenomenon. At the same time we look to affective relations and bonds established in the family recognizing the contributions of the psychoanalysis of the psychic transmission as forms to elucidate certain processes that we identify in the contemporary family. The formation of bonds many times conditions the future health of the individuals and appears to be a central element in its psychic development. For the establishment of the affective bonds contribute elements transmitted for the previous generations that function as precipitated and crystallizations, configuring micron reflationary universes in which the interactions happen. We point out the principles that compose the analysis of the psychic transmission, as the importance of the inter subjective relations, the defense mechanisms that support the transmission of contents not elaborated, the function of the transmission, and the forms of appropriation are primordial for the deep understanding of the process of formation of the bond mother-child that deserve attention in the studies in the area.
