Abstract

The present study sought to understand the Psychological Duty as a possibility of reception and intervention in this context. The work was characterized as an exploratory descriptive study, through a systematic review of the literature, involving both productions on Psychological Duty held in two databases: Google Scholar and CAPES Periodicals. The following descriptors were used: Psychological duty AND Clinic AND Phenomenology and Losses and Mourning AND Psychological Clinic AND Existential Phenomenology. The searches were carried out between the months of July and October 2019. The inclusion criteria were: Scientific articles published between the years 2015 to 2019, which were available in digital media on these platforms, in Portuguese, which presented an understanding of Duty Psychological or Losses and Grief in a clinical context and from a phenomenological-existential conception. We understand that the Psychological Duty constitutes a powerful service of reception to the bereaved subject.
