The purpose of this article is to discuss the concept of mental health, containing the impasses of psychopathological ratings. The approach includes your settings on the subjective organization of the subject. The article is based on a literature review on the theory of psychoanalysis and its guidelines on the concept of psychosis. To achieve the purpose of the discussion on the concept of psychosis and its relation to mental health at the present time, it used knowledge produced from psychiatry to psychology, highlighting the considerations of both the etiological as their imbricamentos. The proposal was to foster reflection on psychoanalysis the definitions of praxis in mental health. To perform this task we use the observations of Freud and the historic buildings of Psychoanalysis, pointing in science circulating human biological ace the insertion of subjectivity, either in order to express distress or what eludes attempts at standardization.
