MORAES, Pedro Henrique  and  ZAMBENEDETTI, Gustavo. Psychology and Public Policies in the Southeast of Paraná: Potentialities and Challenges. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.3, pp.17-30.  Epub July 08, 2024. ISSN 2177-093X.  https://doi.org/10.20435/pssa.v14i3.1806.

The psychology performance in public policies expanded in Brazil. This study’s aim was mapping the inclusion of psychologists in Unified Health System (SUS) and Single System of Social Assistance (SUAS) in a Regional in the state of Paraná, Brazil. We did descriptive research through the consultation on the National Register (Cadastros Nacionais) and the intersection with the consultations to administration of nine municipalities of this Regional. It was identified the insertion of 20 psychologists in SUS and 28 in SUAS. In welfare, it predominates the act in basic social protection and the statutory relation, whereas in health predominate the act in the specialized level with contracts through legal entities. The discussions highlight three aspects: the gap of registers related to the service; the particularities of Psychology inclusion in public policies; the linkage and work’s precariousness. In the face of the scenario of psychologist’s inclusion consolidation in public policies, it is indicated challenges to the performance and vocational training..
