Abstract

SECOTTE, Guilherme  and  DIONISIO, Gustavo Henrique. Death drive and aggressiveness in the field of Freud-Lacan. Analytica [online]. 2018, vol.7, n.13, pp.238-258. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article aims to expose and discuss the theory of the death drive elaborated by Freud and the notion of aggressiveness in Lacan, doing a sort of general synthesis about this theoretical axis of psychoanalysis of the field of Freud-Lacan. Thus, we first discuss the way in which we can understand the theory of drives, and then we properly approach the theory of drives in psychoanalysis. After that, we enter into the problematic of the freudian death drive and, at the end of this text, we discuss its unfolding with Lacan's conception of aggressiveness.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Death drive; Aggressiveness; Freud-Lacan.
