Abstract

FERREIRA, Vanessa Sajnaj  and  SOUZA, Nei Ricardo de. The obsessive neurotic individual and his subjective difficulty in taking the father's place: a case study. Analytica [online]. 2019, vol.8, n.15, pp.1-15. ISSN 2316-5197.

The obsessive neurotic individual has a specific position towards the father that is marked by an intense hostility and attempt to replace him and, simultaneously, by love and obedience to the paternal law. This article discusses a clinical case of an obsessive neurotic patient, whose conflicts with his father, already dead, demonstrate his subjective difficulty in taking the father's place.
