COSTA, Joyce Pereira da; AMORIM, Keyla Mafalda de Oliveira; PESSANHA, Vanessa Costa  and  YAMAMOTO, Oswaldo Hajime. Who investigates professional psychologists in Brazil?. Arq. bras. psicol. [online]. 2012, vol.64, n.2, pp.02-18. ISSN 1809-5267.

Psychologist profession has been the focus of significant set of studies in psychology in Brazil. Who are the scholars that investigate professional psychologists in Brazil? In this paper we tried to characterize who are the authors of such studies. We examine the authors' Lattes curricula identifying professional and personal characteristics and those of their publications. They are mostly females, with either a PhD or Master degrees, belonging to professional associations. Most of the authors have from one to three individually authored publications on the theme. Despite the large number of publication, the profession constitutes a residual and diffuse theme. New studies are necessary on aspects that have not been addressed.
