According to experiences gather from the Epidemilogical Research on Communtiy Activities several theoretic-methodological inferences can be drawn regarding the articulation of Geographic Information Systems to Strategies of Primary Health Care (SIG-APS - Spanish Acronym). This is a system used for strategic planning at the local level, which proposes changes in the classic method applied to informal health management.
