The objective of this text is to work upon the Lacan’s teaching about the possible developments of feminine enjoyment in front of vicissitudes of love life. With this proposal, the author tries to trace the theoretical framework from which Lacan uttered how this type of feminine enjoyment, when it is experienced within the contingencies of the love encounter, may cause completely opposite results either conducting the woman to a devastating experience or to sexual ecstasy.
