The strategy denominated Healthy Brasileirinhas and Brasileirinhos (EBBS) is an initiative established between the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (National Institute of Health of Women, Children and Teenager Fernandes Figueira (IFF/Fiocruz) and the Ministry of Health (General coordination of child health and breastfeeding (MS/CGSCAM)), was initiated in 2007. While the pilot project was developed in six Brazilian cities, a second phase begins with the objective of strengthening the inter-federative pact of the implementation of the National Policy of Integral Attention to Child Health (PNAISC).
