VIEIRA, Emanuel Meireles; BEZERRA, Edson do Nascimento; PINHEIRO, Francisco Pablo Huáscar Aragão y BRANCO, Paulo Coelho Castelo. Sense's version in person centered clinical supervision: alterity, presence and therapeutic relationship. Rev. Psicol. Saúde [online]. 2018, vol.10, n.1, pp.63-76. The paper aims to discuss psychotherapy supervision based on the Person-centered Approach (PCA). ´The point of view of Carl Rogers about this subject is presented, as well as the vision of contemporary authors. It is admitted that there is a tension between the genuineness present in psychotherapy and the technical parameters guiding this type of relationship. Differently from Rogers's propositions, it is understood that this tension must not be overcome, but it must be listened in order to enable the psychotherapist to be open to the difference of the client and his own. The primary attitude on the part of the psychotherapist towards this way of being in the relationship is to be present, while the supervision must act to access the willingness to be present. Finally, the version of senses is indicated as an efficient instrument for supervisory purposes.
