TAFFAREL, Marilsa. A way to teach Psychoanalysis that concurs with its investigative method. J. psicanal. [online]. 2022, vol.55, n.103, pp.59-72. Epub 08-Jul-2024. ISSN 0103-5835. https://doi.org/10.5935/0103-5835.v55n103.05.
This article discusses some ideas that pertain to the psychoanalyst’s training. On the one hand, ideas by Fabio Herrmann and, on the other, by Jacques Lacan and his studiers. Far from exhausting the portrayal of the complex and innovative training that takes place in Lacanian institutes, this article conveys some critical aspects that are connected to the thinking of the creator of the Multiple Fields Theory. For one, their critical perspectives about the ways in which psychoanalysis is taught and, in turn, how that is connected to the essential in an analysis. It is noteworthy that Fabio Herrmann surmises very critically how transmission would ideally occur at a psychoanalytic institute: including what has already been produced but with a critical approach and investigating what remains obscure, what is yet to be dis-covered in our field.
