BARBOSA, Laura Monte Serrat. Psychopedagogy in-group, in-the-group and with-the-group: going beyond patholization. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2009, vol.26, n.80, pp.325-336. ISSN 0103-8486.

In order to overcome the notion of "Alonexistence" that runs rampant in the world, it is necessary to foster the idea of "Coexistence" that generates "groupality" on its wake. The goal of esprit de corps is to transcend the individual dimension and promote the perception and experience of everyone as part of a whole, at the same time as representatives and subjects of that wholeness. A gathering of people may not be construed as the forming of a group by itself. Getting together is the first step; however, attaining the status of community life requires a series of stages, e.g. to establish rapport conducive for people to align their personal features, such as in an orchestra, where harmony is created to perform a collective task. The purpose of Psicopedagogy in-group, in-the-group and with-the-group is to provide the right tools that will enable learners to both learn and think, and together to build knowledge, thus expanding learning beyond the individual dimension. In-group learning presupposes the exchange of experience, ideas and feelings, and above all of internal and external changes, both personal and collective; in-the-group learning presupposes learning how to bond, overcoming moments of confusion, of dissociation and integration, i.e. learning in-the-group what the group is and what things are done as a group; with-the-group learning is conducive to acquiring new knowledge and new ways of tackling the task, both objective and subjective, which is incorporated to the individual's life experience. This article shows the adventure of living as part of a group, of coordinating and studying it, and challenging it so we can learn how coexist in a community and build knowledge together.

Palabras clave : Social group; Learning; Cooperative behaviour.
