Resumen

POTT, Eveline Tonelotto Barbosa  y  CAMPOS, Douglas Aparecido de. School Psychology in higher education: a literature review. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.41, n.101, pp.193-204. ISSN 1415-711X.

This article aims to review the contributions of School Psychology to Higher Education. Therefore, we opted for an integrative literature review, conducted systematically, in order to analyze the evidences found on the topic in the last 10 years. A search was performed in the databases of SciELO, PePSIC/BVS-Psi Brazil, using the following descriptors: Educational Psychology, School Psychology, Psychology and Higher Education. Twenty-one articles were selected for analysis in this study. As a result, there is a lack of research in the field of school psychology focused on the demands of higher education, especially from models or reports of how this professional can act in a collective and institutional perspective. In most studies accessed, the focus of work of the school psychologist is specific with students, especially those who have some type of school failure. Thus, this article points to the need for theoretical and empirical advances in relation to the knowledge of School Psychology with regard to its possibilities of action in the scope of higher education, in order to overcome a practice based on the conception of school failure.

Palabras clave : school psychology; college education; Higher Education.
