Resumen

FRANCO, Juliana Bianca Maia  y  FORMIGA, Nilton S.. Organizational culture, positive psychological capital and emotional disorder in workers from public and private organizations in the cities of Natal-RN and João Pessoa-PB. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2022, vol.42, n.102, pp.82-95. ISSN 1415-711X.

Considering that inappropriate occupational situations in the work environment can generate mental illness, variables that influence work stress, depression and anxiety were investigated. With this objective, a descriptive, exploratory, correlational study, with a quantitative approach, with workers from the cities of Natal-RN and João Pessoa-PB, developed intentional data collection, through the snowball method, with 219 workers, aged over 18 years, most of them from the private sector, including married women, with an average of 9.19 years of service, and most of them with specialization. The Organizational Culture Scale was applied, which addresses positive psychological capital and emotional disorder (anxiety, depression and stress) and a sociodemographic questionnaire, individually, through an electronic form hosted on Google.docs, sent by email and/or through social networks. Descriptive analysis, Pearson's correlation, Student's t test, Cronbach's alpha and ANOVA tests were performed, and psychometric indicators related to organizational culture, positive psychological capital and emotional disorder were recorded. The data obtained revealed a higher positive correlation in individuals who presented better results in Organizational Culture and positive psychological capital and a lower one in emotional disorder, data that highlight that positive psychological capital should be considered an important variable for decision making and problem solving of organizational behavior, becoming part of the organizational culture established by the organizations Human Resources.

Palabras clave : cultura organizacional; capital psicológico positivo; trastorno emocional; organización pública y privada.
