Data presented here came from applied research within a Brazilian public university. It aimed to investigate conceptual theoretical assumptions towards the creation of a device for mapping management skills. The model was based upon conceptual and theoretical framework built up bay the clinic of activity, aiming to explain the development of the activity through the expansion of the power of acting of individual workers and collectives. A dialogical and co-analytical method of working activity, focusing in groups of workers validated the conceptual model and showed that the mapping of competences and tool raised diverse possibilities mobilized by the individual-worker in the context of his collective of colleagues. The validation to verify the developmental emergence of there was the production of development resources for the action and protagonist of the individual-worker in the co-analyst. Narrative data showed to be a rich material for promoting conflict with real work contexts and recreation throw dialogue among workers.
