CANAVEZ, Fernanda. For a clinics of the multiple: an investigation about resistance. Trivium [online]. 2014, vol.6, n.1, pp.55-67. ISSN 2176-4891.
This work investigates the resistance in its different meanings in Freudian thought to enhance the multiple character of the psyche. The beginning of Freudian thought is significantly marked by resistance attributed to the ego. However, these are insufficient to account for the different psychic dynamics revealed with the passage for the second dualism pulsation and to the second Freudian topography. This is also because the instances of the id and the superego show their resistance, which indicates another recording for understanding the psyche, absolutely permeated by the intensities and beyond the faculty of representing. Thus, if the resistance phenomenon can be interpreted as an obstacle to the fluidity of an analysis, it also indicates something that always escapes the possibility of seizure by the clinical method, and can thus be serving the safeguard of what is more singular.
