Resumen

SAFATLE, Vladimir. A sensitive clinic: on the relationship between subjective destitution and the primacy of the object. Interações [online]. 2005, vol.10, n.19, pp.123-150. ISSN 1413-2907.

This article discusses the relationship between subjective destitution and the fate of the object in Lacan. This relationship evinces the ways in which for Lacan the issue of subjective destitution does not imply abandoning the notion of the subject, but furthering the ideas brought about by the notion of a decentered subject. By recovering the concept of the sensitive in psychoanalysis, we take an important step towards understanding what is at stake in the Lacanian definition of subjectivity.
