Resumen

ARAUJO, Jane Pereira  y  FREITAS, Lêda Gonçalves de. Normality at work from the perspective of work psychodynamics: an integrative review. Estud. psicol. (Natal) [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.4, pp.370-379. ISSN 1413-294X.  https://doi.org/10.22491/1678-4669.20210035.

This study aims to identify the scientific literature evidence of research carried out on normality at workplace, using the work psychodynamics as theoretical support. An integrative literature review was made, by searching for scientific productions available in the electronic databases in the areas of psychology and health in Brazil, during the period of 2009-2018. The sample consists of 314 studies, including theses, dissertations, and articles. The results demonstrate that no studies were found that approach the concept of normality in work psychodynamics exclusively. It was evidenced the low frequency of the use of the term normality, indicating that this concept is not approached in isolation, and may be related to others aspects in the workplace psychodynamics, such as suffering at work, defense strategies and recognition. The importance of further studies on the topic is emphasized, suggesting expanded quests, including international research, for comparison purposes.

Palabras clave : normality; work; workplace; psychodynamics; review.
