The article provides a concise summary of the results obtained through the research “The Mathematics’s Sense: The Voice of Teenager”, presented as a Master's Dissertation. The research of qualitative nature had a group of adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17 years from a slam in Heliópolis, Sao Paulo, as subjects and it resulted in the constitution of Mathematics´s meaning cores, amongst them the unpredictability shown up as one of the factors generating negative reactions in evaluation situations. There is a contradiction between the rational conditions demanded in order to have dominion over the knowledge of mathematics and the real conditions as the subjects turn to their emotions in the process of learning. For educators with this understanding, it is important to respect the conflict and clarify further difficulties of learning because this will help the Psycho-pedagogical diagnostics and clinics intervention.
